2011 Hero Review: Rocka XL

Hi,
My brother got Rocka XL for Christmas and he is a fairly awesome character that has his own pros and cons. I'll get onto that in the review...

The build was different but had a familiar feel to the one of Fire Lords. The legs are virtually the same with some extras but is still basically the same. I'll give it a 9/10

The new pieces are great but available in other smaller sets. The head is the same as Rocka. He had the same Hero Badge that his smaller version had but this set comes with two instead so it still has 3.0 written on it and I would have preferred it to say XL but I don't mind it that much. I will give the new pieces a 8/10

The design is very cool and probably the best part. It is an improvement over Fire Lords which he is similar to in the build aspect of the set. His main colour of gold is a bit evened up by the gun metal silver. I don't like that too much as their were a lot gun metal on the smaller Rocka. One thing I really don't like is that a lot of pieces are often falling off and the articulation is sometimes limited by all the spikes that are coming off his back and shoulders. I'll give the design of Rocka XL a 9/10

The playability is all right but you need Witch Doctor to complete the battle. I have him by the way and will review him next but back to the playability which I'll give a 6/10

The overall rating for Rocka XL is not going to be as higher one as Scorpio as I feel that set was unique and this is just not. I do like it but the lack of gold is just a bit annoying and the spikes do get in the way. It is, however, a definite improvement of Fire Lord and I do really suggest you  get this set to compliment Witch Doctor if you have him because he really needs to pic on somebody his own size and Rocka would be that person. I do like this set but it does have more cons than I would like so I'll give it an overall rating of 9/10

That was my review of Rocka XL and I do still have Witch Doctor to come along with more of the new mission about the Breakout but first, because this is his set, here's my brothers opinion...

I like the armour on him and I also find the build cool. However I dislike the spikes on the back that I have no idea what they do. I'll agree with my brother on this and give him a 9/10

That was my brothers opinion on Rocka and I've got some good new about reviews to come. Witch Doctor is next followed by... Black Phantom. I have ordered him and am expecting him soon along with Jawblade for my brother so expect review of them soon and that's all from me so please comment and follow,

2011 Hero Review: Furno 3.0

Hi,
My brother got Furno for Christmas and as my last post in 2011 I'm going to review him. Since it is my brothers set you will see his opinion at the end so read on for that plus the review itself...

The build is basic and no different from the others. It gets an 8/10

The new pieces are cool but their aren't many of them in this set. The wing pieces are cool but we've seen them on Raw-Jaw as tusks so they aren't exclusive. The exclusive hero badge is cool but not to different from the others. The only other new piece is the Head which is awesome and looks like an eagle however sometimes it gets in the way of articulation but on its own its great. I'll give the new pieces a 7/10

The design is good and he does look like he's an aerodynamic hero but I feel that parts are often clashing and articulation is restricted. I don't mind the upper leg armours absence to much however I would have preferred the skeletal pieces there to be red instead of black. I tried swooping them out with the ones on Raw-Jaw and I think it looks better but like I said before I'm not to bothered about it. The weapon is good and it works a plasma bow. I find it a good use of some older pieces an I can imagine it being a bow. I'll give the design an 8/10

The playability is good but needs more figures to make it great. It's a 5/10

Overall Furno is a nice model model but it isn't one of the best. I do like his weapon and his head  but the way he's gome together isn't the best and the amount of new pieces isn't the best either. However, I give him an overall rating of 8/10

That was my review of Furno and I hope that you enjoyed it as a last post for 2011. I do recommend this set but if you are getting just a few of the Savage Planet sets then I would recommend you miss him out. Now onto what my brother thinks...

One thing I like about him is the wings plus the bow because they are very unique. I don't like the fact that he doesn't have much armour because his legs are his weak spot. Overall I give him an 8/10

That was my brothers opinion on Furno. More reviews will be coming in January so look for them. Please comment and follow,

2011 Hero Review: Stringer 3.0

Hi,
My brother got Stringer yesterday which was the day after Christmas and I thought I'd review him before getting onto to some of the bigger ones. This also means that me and my brother have all the 2011 sets which is a very big achievement as we have never completed a whole theme before and I'm going to aim to make it two years in a row by completing it next year too. Now onto the review...

The build was basic but fun and gets an 8/10

The new pieces are great but one thing I think is better is the re-colours in black. We have the chest piece in black and the body armour and the core in a flame yellow. The feet are now in black and the spike pieces are in the flame yellow too. The main new piece is the head which is really cool. The eye sockets are small but it works with the bear theme. It also has enough of a mechanical feel to give it a good mixture. He also has new pieces that act as part of his claw and they come in flame yellow. They look cool but not to much. The base of the claw is the same piece that comes as the base of Nex's weapon but its now in black which is good. The exclusive hero badge is cool but the bear on it looks a bit like a wolf but it may just be me. I'll give the new pieces a 10/10

The design is awesome and works well with the bear theme of him. It keeps the essence of the original Stringer but has a slight colour change from orange to flame yellow. He has a bulky feel to him that I feel was missing from Bulk but it seems to not be as bulky as Stormer. I like the design of Stringer and give it a 9/10

The playability is same old same old and gets a 5/10

Overall this set is really good and I personally like it. If you're into making MoC's then this set is probably good for you to get some black parts and some of the flame yellow parts too. I'll give the model an overall rating of 9/10

So that was my review of this set and I think that it is awesome since this is my brothers sets its time for his opinion on it. Here is what he thinks of it...

I like the fact that Stringer actually looks a lot like a bear but I don't really like the weapon too much because I think the should of done a similar thing to what they did with Nex and have two hands. I agree with my brother on this an give him a 9/10

That was both mine and my brothers opinion on Stringer and there are plenty more reviews on the way so please comment and follow,

2011 Hero Review: Stormer 3.0

Merry Christmas,
I've just unwrapped Stormer 3.0 and have cracked the canister open and built him. I'm now going to review the set as a special Christmas post. I also have all the other 2011 sets to review except Stringer but I may have him soon also. Now onto the festive review...

The build was basic but fun at the same time. Its the same as all the other hero's really but hopefully in 2012 that's all going to change. I'll give the build the same old 8/10

The new pieces that are included in the set are quite nice ones but are included in most other sets. The only new and exclusive piece is his helmet which is quite nice and represents a rhino well. Stormer features a few re-colours too like the 3 long armour pieces in white which we have not seen before. He also has his exclusive Hero Badge piece which has a nice image of a rhino on it. The spike pieces that were featured with a lot of the early 2011 sets are now featured in blue in this set and tree of them are included which is a bonus. With all this I'll give the new pieces a 9/10

The design is unique and seems really bulky and it almost fits his character in some ways but I fell this whole design should have been more for bulk. The weapon is nice and unique. I like the use of the chest armour placed on the arm and it really looks good with the overall design. I'll give the design a rating of 8/10

The playability is good but needs more figures to make it great. It's a 5/10

Overall its a good set and I think that I really like it however it has its flaws and I thinks there's a felling that Bulk should have been like this to me but he is still nice and goes well alongside the rest of the Savage Planet sets. I'll give it an overall rating of 8/10

That was my review of Stormer 3.0 and he comes recommended by me. I do have all the other sets excluding Stringer so expect reviews of them this December and January. The new 2012 sets just came out yesterday in the UK with fairly reasonable prices and and the smaller sets are cheaper now which may be a result of the packaging but whatever the reason I'm happy for it. I hope you'll have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,

2011 Hero Review: Nex 3.0

Hi,
I brought this set online for my brother and he let me review it today so that means he is going to share his opinion at the end. Now lets move onto the review...

The build was the same as all the other hero's and gets an 8/10

The new pieces are on the low side because a lot of the pieces were also in the first Nex. The main new piece is his helmet and its awesome, the eyes are sharp and small compared to other hero's in the wave. He also comes with grey low arm/leg parts which are in a lot of the new hero's. He also has a silver piece which is the base of the weapon and has the possibility of five clips attaching to it. The two blades on the arm are also included on Rocka and fells very flexible. I would give the new pieces a 8/10

The design is great and unlike a lot of other sets this year he comes with two hands and an arm-mounted weapon so that's cool and I wish they would do that with other sets. The colour scheme worked as well as it did before which was great. The design gets a 9/10

The playability is good but needs another hero or villain to increase it. Its a 5/10

Overall, its a great set and goes well with the Savage Planet collection. I enjoy this set and I think it deserves a 10/10

Bellow is my brothers opinion on the set and I would suggest checking that out if you are still unsure about this set so you have two opinions rather than one. If you do not want to and your mind is made up, or even if you were merely reading this for the fun of it, then please comment and follow,

Nex 3.0 Opinion

Hi,
Above is my review of Nex and I would suggest reading that before reading this. This is my brothers opinion of Nex 3.0 and I gave it an astonishing 10/10 and lets see bellow if my brother agrees...

I like his weapon because it fits his character of the sabre-toothed tiger. I also like the helmet because it looks a lot like a tiger. To be honest I cannot think of anything bad about him and rate him a 10/10

That was my brother opinion of Nex 3.0 and until the next review please comment and follow,

2011 Hero Review: Bulk 3.0

Hi,
Its been a while since I've done a review and in the post today I received Bulk 3.0 and now I'm reviewing him so please enjoy...

The build was a basic one but all the hero's are like that so its another 8/10

The new pieces are cool and I really like the chest in silver. He also has the core and head in orange. He also has a cool helmet which is very defining as a wolf unlike Rocka's which didn't look a lot like his animal which is a lion. The feet look really good in silver and I just can't help but give the new pieces a 10/10

The design is cool but it doesn't seem to fit his character. The original Bulk was actually very bulky but the 3.0 version seems a lot more fast and stealthy and honestly not bulky at all. Still, he looks good he just doesn't fit his character so its a rating of 8/10

The playability is, as it always is probably always will be, a 5/10

The overall rating is a good one because I do really like this set it just doesn't fell like Bulk in the essence that he's not as armoured as he should be. In my opinion, Bulk 3.0 gets an overall rating of 8/10

That was my review of Bulk 3.0 and the next review will be on my brothers set, Nex 3.0. Until then, please comment and follow,

2011 Hero Review: Breez 2.0

Hi,
This will be the last review of the 2.0 series and its of Breez 2.0 who my brother got when I got Raw-Jaw. After the review there will be my brothers opinion, as usual, but first I'm going to need to start off with...

... the build, which was really basic after all the others so it gets the same rating of 8/10

New pieces are all seen before in different colours. She does have some green armour pieces and her hero badge in gun-metal. She has two red spikes and a cool visor piece which doesn't look that female but it does have some reminiscence to the old Breez head. New pieces get another 8/10

The design is nice and has the same colour scheme as her original version and seems a lot less armoured making it seem like she doesn't want to much armour to slow her down and she also looks quite streamlined for slicing through the air. The design is great and gets marked down one just because of the hollow back, its a 9/10

Playability is all the same and gets an average 6/10

I think that Breez deserves a high overall rating because off all the reasons above. She is also one of the few 2.0 hero's that don't use the same weapon base which I really like. She looks really cool and I would give her an overall rating of 9/10

I hope you enjoyed to review and please look bellow to see my brothers opinion of Breez and all that's left to say is: please comment and follow,
matanui,

Breez 2.0 Opinion
Hi,
Above is my opinion of Breez 2.0 and that was a in-depth look but this is just a quick look to add another opinion. I gave Breez 2.0 a 9/10 so now lets see what my bother has to say:

I think that her visor piece is really cool and it fits well with her character. I also like her weapons because they look awesome and are different to the other hero's. I can't give anything bad about Breez and give her a overall rating of 9/10

That was my brothers opinion and I'm not going to be posting for a while so don't expect any posts in the next to weeks as I might not have Internet access were I'm going but if I do I'll post the next part of Mission on Savage Planet but until then, please comment and follow,

2011 Hero Review: Rocka 3.0

Hi,
On my birthday, it was a nice surprise when I unwrapped Rocka 3.0 because I wasn't expecting him to be released until August. I'm not entirely sure he came from 'cause every site I look on say to pre-order for August but I'm glad I got him and I am now happy to bring you a Savage Planet review...

The build is, as always, our starting point and their hasn't been change in the building system so their isn't much difference with the 2.0 line. However, I'm glad they kept it the same as it would get annoying if the hero's kept changing with each new release. The build gets the same old 8/10

The next part of the review is the new pieces an their are a fair amount including recolours. Since this is our first gold hero we have some new armour pieces in gold. We have a pair of gold feet along with some large (5 Stud Long) hero armour pieces in gold. We also have a gold hero chest piece with a cool white hero core inside it. It also includes two lower arm/ leg skeletal pieces in grey which is cool. Another recolour is the white head which is also a great piece to have in that colour. He includes a black hand with the four fingers on it and an all new piece which is the base of his weapon and could also be used as a paw. The two centre spikes coming out of his weapon are also new pieces but their plastic seems cheap and flexible. on the outer part of the weapon are some new talon like pieces too. He also comes with the new trans-green hero badge which has a lions head printed on it along with his name: Rocka 3.0. Of course, the final piece is his head resembles a lion is some way but you have to be looking at it from the right angles. With all that and half those pieces in a gold colour, how can I resist a 10/10

Design is the third part of the review and one thing I have to say about it is the head is to big because it is made for Rocka XL and not this smaller version. Other than that he is not too bad. They still have not fixed the hollow back but I've learned to except that over time and who else can resist the gold which was an excellent choice of colour and LEGO did not cheap out as they have given us a solid and shiny gold colour unlike the old Bionicle Glatorian Mata Nui. With that said I give the design a 7/10

The playability has not changed much makes the basic articulation suffer so its a low mark of 5/10

Overall, Rocka 3.0 is great and although I may have been a bit critical about the head I still recommend it and as you can probably tell, I love the gold and if you make MoC's then I would recommend this as gold is going to be great on your creations. Overall, he gets a 9/10

Thanks for reading my first Savage Planet review and I hope to have more on the way. Until then, please comment and follow,

2011 Hero Review: Nex 2.0

Hi,
I got Nex 2.0 while I was away and Drilldozer for my brother, a big hint for what the next review will be. He's so awesome that I don't want to waist any time and get right onto the review:

The build is basic and I don't really need to say any thing. Its a solid 8/10

New pieces are basically all the same as other sets. He does have these cool saw pieces for his weapon which have quite a sleek robotic texture to them and only come in the gun metal colour. Also in gunmetal is the visor which is quite curved in design and different to the others which are more square and bulky, it has fine small details like a buzz-saw and a antenna along with some other things too. His unique piece is the same style as the others and is in white, orange and black. He has the new head, spike and core in a dark green which I don't think we've seen LEGO do in a long time. Other parts are generic only in different colours so new pieces gets a 10/10

Design is great and the colour scheme helps a lot. Orange and green work well with each other and make him look a bit like a carrot colour wise. Moving away from that he is basic and a new colour to have for a Hero. The return of the old green gives me hope for a Hero with that coloured armour in the future but we'll have to wait and see. The design, great as it is, gets a 7/10

Playability is another thing I don't need to say anything about. As always with the Hero's its a 6/10

Overall I think that Nex 2.0 is a great Hero and I really enjoyed adding him to my collection. He gets a well deserved rating of 9/10

Thanks for reading this review of Nex 2.0 and I hope it helped you decide whether or not you want to add him to your collection. Next review will be of Drilldozer and it'll include my bothers opinion as it is his set. Since my story Mission 2.0 is now over I don't have much to post about mission wise but I am planning the Savage Plant series and it will probably be made up of 10 missions. 2011 Hero Review: Evo 2.0

Hi,
Its been a while since I've done a review but me a my brother recently got a new set each and I'm starting off with my brothers set, Evo 2.0,and in the next post I'll move onto mine, Nitroblast. Evo looks really good and I can tell why he's my brothers favourite. As always with a set that belongs to my brother he will be adding in his opinion towards the end but first lets get the main review done...

The build was very good compared to the old hero's from 2010 but with the new ones I say that once you've built one you've built them all, they are quite similar so I'm going 8/10

Now for new pieces, a lot of them have been seen in other sets this year just with different colours but there is a piece I haven't seen before and its a piece of armour in a medium size, smaller than the hero badge but bigger than fairly common small ones. There is also the visor piece which is in a dark-silver and has vents towards the front and give a square jawed tough feel which fits his character in the story behind the sets. He also has rubber like spikes in a silver colour rather than the blue seen on Stormer 2.0 and that's really it for new pieces, my rating is 10/10

Onto the design which has its pros and cons. From the front he looks great and really bulked up but at the back it all hollow which takes it down a mark or two. But the colour scheme is new and looks really good with the yellow which is lighter than Jetbug's and purple which is hardly ever seen in LEGO. Because of those reasons I am going to give the design a 8/10

Playability is the same with all other Hero's in 2011, no shooting mechanism, just the excellent articulation which the 2010 Hero's lacked. I'm giving the playability a 6/10

Overall, he's awesome and if you haven't got him yet then your missing out. The colour scheme comes together really well and character of is shown really well through the pieces that are used. Overall, Evo gets a very high rating of 9/10

Next review is Nitroblast but we've still got my brother opinion so lets get onto that now. I said it before and I will say it again, if you haven't got him then your missing out. Please comment and follow,

Evo 2.0 Opinion
Hi,
Above is my review of Evo 2.0 and since this is my brothers set its time to get his opinion on it. I gave him a overall rating of 9/10 and now it time to see what he gives him...

A great thing about him is that the weapon uses the shield piece in a different way to Stormer 2.0, Furno 2.0 and Nex 2.0. I also like the purple on him which goes well with the yellow used on him. He is so good that I can't think of anything bad about him so he gets a amazing 10/10

I hope you enjoyed my review and my brother opinion of Evo 2.0 and I hope it helped you decide whether to add him to your collection or not. Please comment and follow,

2011 Hero Review: Stormer 2.0

Hi,
I promised I would post this review today (18th March) and here it is. I haven't been posting much so far this month but hopefully I'll have more things to post towards this end of the month. Anyway, enough about what to come, lets get onto the review...

The build was same old same old for the new Hero's but its still way better than the 2010 sets. I'll give the build a 8/10
Now for new pieces. The new pieces are quite common for these new sets however he does have these cool spears that have been seen in themes like LEGO Kingdoms but this time they are blue and made out of rubber. I'm not sure why but the flexible spears are great. There is also a new body part that only he and Nex 2.0 have, its a smaller version of the average skeletal body that's seen a lot in the 2011 sets. I'll pieces gets a 10/10

Now for the design. One thing that's really cool about him is that he uses extended leg pieces that are often seen in the villains of 2011 which makes him more taller and fits the fact that he is the leader. Other than that its same old same old. I'll give the design a 8/10

Playability is the same for all of the new 2011 hero's, 6/10

Overall Stormer 2.0 is awesome and if your not sure whether you want to collect the new 2011 sets or not then Stormer is an excellent one to try out and get a feel of what these new sets are all about. I am not sure if I like Stormer 2.0 or Surge 2.0 better but they are both awesome in there own ways. Overall, Stormer 2.0 gets a rating of 8/10

Next review will probably be of Breez 2.0 but I haven't got her yet so it will be a while until the next review. Please comment and follow,

2011 Hero Review: Furno 2.0

Hi,
My brother got Furno 2.0 same time he got the Furno Bike. He's okay but I like all the others a lot better (I'll talk about why when I get onto the design) so I wouldn't really recommend buying him unless you really want to. Now onto the review...

The build was quite good. I would say its average for the new Hero's. Still it is better than 2010 so I'll give the build a 8/10

Now for the knew pieces. Most are the same as Surge 2.0 but in red. He has his Hero-badge with Furno 2.0 written on it. My favourite part however is the new piece on the weapon that reminds me of the Piraka foot from Bionicle. I'll give the new pieces a 10/10

Now for the Design. When I saw preliminary pics didn't really think he looked that good because of his head which lets the set down a lot and also, because he's arguably the main character, it lets the rest down. But when he was released the goggles didn't come out as far as I thought but it still would be nice to have something covering the mouth like on a lot of the others. Like all the others there's the hollow back which I talked about in the review of Surge 2.0. I'll give the design a 6/10

Playability, same as Surge 2.0, it's better than the 2010 hero's because of the bendable limbs they have. I'll give the playability a 6/10

Overall, he's a good figure but as I said in design the head lets him down a lot. I'll give him an overall rating of 7/10

I hope you enjoyed this review of Furno 2.0. Bellow is my brothers opinion of this set. Please comment and follow,
matanui,

Furno 2.0 Opinion
Hi,
Above is my review of Furno 2.0 and here is my brothers opinion on it. I gave it a overall rating of 7/10 but I'm not sure what my brother thinks about him...

I like the awesome new armour that attaches using the ball-and-socket system. I also like the brand new weapon design because it can also be like a shield. I do not really like the leg because they aren't symmetrical. I disagree with my brother and am going for a higher overall rating of 8/10

That was my brothers opinion of Furno 2.0 and I hope you enjoyed it. The next review with be of Stormer 2.0 and the next post will be of the third part of Mission 2.0 which will be titled Mission 15: Rookies. Please comment and follow,

2011 Hero Review: Surge 2.0

Hi,
I got Surge 2.0 the same time I got Jetbug. I didn't get Surge last year but this year I did and he is awesome. However if your not to sure about 2.0 then I would suggest getting Stormer 2.0 or Evo 2.0 to get more of a feel of what these new sets has to offer. I was planing to get Stormer 2.0 but the shop I went to only had Surge 2.0, Furno 2.0 and Breez 2.0 so I got Surge 2.0 and I also got Furno 2.0 for my brother. Anyway, lets get on with the review...

The build was a lot better than the heroes we had in 2010. There isn't much going on compared to Jetbug but it was still good. I'll give the build a 8/10

Now for the new pieces I'm not going to go into much detail because a lot of them are very similar to Jetbug. There is a new head piece which uses the mini-pins which are popular in these new sets. There is also his exclusive head piece which has a cool scope. There is also a skull cap in blue. He also has a new chest which has a new Hero-Core which is now smaller because the bottom has been cut of. Finally he comes with his unique Hero-Badge which has his name printed on it. I'll give the new pieces a 10/10

Now for the design. I introduced this new concept to my reviews when I did Jetbug and I hope that you enjoy it. He looks very good from the front and sides but turn it onto the back an its completely hollow which is quite annoying, especially with the white under armour which has a lot of contrast against the black skeleton. I'll give the design a rating of 7/10

Playability is better than the 2010 hero's because of the bendable limbs they have. I'll give the playability a 6/10

Overall, I think this is a good set but as I said above I would not suggest getting him first. Overall he is a great figure and I'm giving him a overall rating of 8/10

Thanks for reading my review of Surge 2.0 and next will be Furno 2.0. Please share your thoughts,

2010 Hero Review: Dunkan Bulk

Hi,
My brother got Dunkan Bulk the same time I got Jimi Stringer and Bulk is quite a cool Hero. He also has a great colour scheme which is very unique. Now onto the review...

The build was the basic Alpha Team build except that the weapon arm is on the left instead of the right but that hardly changes the build. I'll give the build a regular 4/10

The new pieces are very cool. My favourite one is the arm because its not as hollow as Stormers and Stringers, unfortunately its not completely filled in. He also comes with a hero core that match's his head pieces colour. The body armour looks very strong and the colour adds to the effect. I'll give the new pieces a 10/10

As you all know by now, the playability gets a 5/10

Overall, Bulk is very cool. I would suggest not getting him in this set and getting bulk and vapour instead, unless you like the silver hand because of its use for MoCing or are a collector (Like Me) and are aiming to get all the sets. Overall I'll give Bulk a 9/10

Thanks for reading this review. I'm not sure what review will be next but I will probably be doing my brother's opinion on the set like I did with Preston Stormer. Anyway, please comment and follow,

2010 Hero Review: Jimi Stringer

Hi,
I've just got Jimi Stringer and he is awesome! He is my favourite Hero and he has a great colour scheme, reminds me of Halloween. Anyway, onto the review...

The build was the same as Preston Stormer, simpler than the rookies and you don't really need the instruction booklet. As always, I'm giving the Build a 4/10

The new pieces are basically the same as the other Hero's except they have a different colour. He has his own unique chest plate which has amplifiers making him look very cool. The chest armour also looks very slick which is cool. The sonic blaster weapon looks cool but, unfortunately, is hollow. However, all the amplifying equipment makes the weapon look good and his hand is moulded into it. I'm giving the new pieces a 9/10

The playability is not so good on its own, but together with some of the other Hero's and Villains it would be very fun (How many times have I said that?) so I'll give a 5/10

Overall, despite the arm, Jimi Stringer is the best. I only wish LEGO would fill in the hollow arm. Overall, I think he deserves a 8/10

By the way, Mission 10: Dark Reunion is my last mission for a while. I am thinking about doing a Halloween special but I still haven't decided. The missions will continue in 2011 when the new sets come out. Also, the next review will be of Bulk then that will probably  be it until Christmas but you never know. Please comment and follow,

2010 Hero Review: Preston Stormer

Hi,
My brother got Preston Stormer when I got Natalie Breez. He is cool but I do have one complaint which I think every one knows: his arm is hollow. But he still looks cool.

The Build was even simpler than the rookie's. Because you only have one proper arm you don't as build much. I'm giving the Build a 4/10

Same as the other Hero's, there are a lot of new pieces. 8 in total. The helmet is cool and has a visor along his eyes. The Body is the same as the other Hero's but the body armour is different, it has cool spikes that give him more of a icy feel. He also has a trans-blue HeroCore which is exclusive to this set. He has the blue limbs which are cool but he only comes with 3. The leg armour is the same as the others but they look cool in white. The feet are also the same as the others but in are in white. The weapon is cool and has a nice trans-blue crystal affect, he also has a buzz saw, a harpoon and something else but I don't know what it is. His right hand is moulded into the weapon which give it a nice affect but the con with the weapon is that it is hollow. I'm giving the New Pieces a 9/10

The playability , as you know, is not so good on its own, but together with some of the other Hero's and Villains it would be very fun so I'll give a 5/10

Overall, I like Preston Stormer but my only complaint is the hollow arm. He has a nice colour scheme and some cool pieces. Overall I think he deserves a 7/10

I don't have any more HeroFactory sets to review until I get some more, so their won't be any more reviews for a while but their will be posts on other things. Please comment and follow,

2010 Hero Review: Natalie Breez

Hi,
I got Natalie Breez a while ago but forgot to review her. She is not my favourite Hero but she is still cool. Green seems to be the new female colour. Anyway, on with the review.

The Build, as always, was simple. You don't really need the instruction booklet but I used it when I'm building it the first time. I'm giving the build a 5/10

There are a lot of new pieces. 8 different one's. The Rookie chest plate is the same as Will Furno and Mark Surge (I don't have Surge yet) but in a different colour. The Hero Core is in a cool red but it doesn't match the head piece. The Helmet does look like a insect and that relates to the story because she can talk to wildlife, which includes insects, this is only a guess though. The Boomerang's are cool and are almost completely made of a strong rubber. I'll give it a 9/10

The playability is not so good on its own, but together with some of the other Hero's and Villains it would be very fun so I'll give a 5/10

Overall I like this Rookie. She has a cool colour scheme and nice pieces. All in all, I think she deserves a 8/10

Expect a review of Preston Stormer soon. Please comment and follow,

2010 Hero Review: William Furno

Hi,
I've just got William Furno. He is Awesome. If you cant deicide about collecting this set or not. Buy this set and see if you like it, Its cheap so if you don't like it you haven't wasted a fortune. Anyway, onto the review.

The build was very simple. You don't really need the Instruction Booklet. However it is cool to see all the new pieces and how they attach on so I'll give it a 5/10

Their are a lot of new pieces, 8 different one's in total. The weapons are awesome. So is the helmet, it has a lot of detail, I looks similar to the one on Crotesius, driver of the Cendox V1.
The new body is awesome and The leg armour is very strong. I'll give it a 9/10

The playability is not so good on its own, but together with some of the other Hero's and Villains it would be very fun so I'll give a 5/10

Overall I think it is a great set. It may be a bit overpriced but I'm quite happy with it. All in all, I think it deserves a 8/10

I will try to get the others and review them soon. Please comment and follow.
