Christmas Break

Hi,
I will be taking a Christmas break so there will be no posts in December. I will be back posting again in January and will hopefully have Meltdown and Von Nebula to review. There might also be some reviews of other 2010 sets and even some from 2011 but I will probably get to 2011 reviews in February. Also I will start my Mission 2.0 in January so there is a lot to look forward to. Please note that I will still be on line but just not posting. Please share your thoughts,

New HeroFactory 2011!!!

Hi,
Here is a list of the Hero Factory Sets due to be released in 2011. They are quite cool and there is a new set of villains lead by the Fire Lord. Here are the sets:

2041     Surge 2.0
2063     Stormer 2.0
2065     Furno 2.0
2067     Evo 2.0
2068     Nex 2.0
2142     Breez 2.0
2192     Drilldozer
2193     Jetbug
2194     Nitroblast
2235     Fire Lord

It seems the new line of Hero Factory sets is going in a good story direction but the sets seem to be going a bit downhill but that's just my opinion. I have already got a story planned and it will consist of 8 missions about Alpha team and the rookies searching for a new threat and a deadly plan. Please share your thoughts,

Hi,
Click here to see the second HeroFactory comic. Same as the first one, this is based of an episode in the HeroFactory TV series. The comic is called Core Crisis and it gets into the plot of the 2010 storyline. Also, the HeroFactory TV series was on TV last night and will be on for the next few Sundays at 8.00 AM on Nickelodeon. It will only be on in the USA but it may come into other country's in December. And if it doesn't it will still be available on DVD from the 16th of November. Please share your thoughts,

Mission 12: Revenge (2 of 2)

Mission:
Revenge
Team:
Alpha Team Veteran Preston Stormer with Rookies Will Furno, Natalie Breez and Mark Surge
Objective:
Recapture Meltdown and Thunder who have recently escaped from prison.
Stormer's Log:

The mission was not going well. Furno was seconds away from certain doom and we were helpless to save him. We only had on choice.
"Surge, Breez!" I ordered. "Drop your weapons."
Surge and Breez did as I said then I to dropped my weapon as well.
"So predictable." Meltdown hissed. He released his grip on Furno and the rookie fell to the flour. We had thrown our weapons to the side but Furno's was right next to him I looked down at Furno and he winked back at me. I just needed to hope that the rookie could get the timing right.
"Now Thunder!" Meltdown hissed. "Trap these hero's with their own Hero Cuffs."
"Not today Meltdown!" Furno said as he grabbed his Dual-Fire Shooter and engulfed Meltdown in flames.
Meanwhile, Surge and Breez had recovered their weapons and were fighting Thunder. They were doing well but I wasn't sure how long they could keep it up for.
I recovered my weapon and went to help Furno fight Meltdown.
"Meltdown!" I shouted. "You have nothing to fight for!  Your boss, Von Nebula, has been captured! So why don't you just give up and submit to justice!"
"Ha!Ha!Ha!" Meltdown laughed. "I am not fighting for Von Nebula, I am fighting for a much greater cause: REVENGE!!!"
I had tried being nice and that didn't work. Now it was time to go on the offensive.
"Stormer!" Furno shouted. "My hero cores almost depleted. You have to continue this fight... alone."
I nodded then went to confront Meltdown. He shot first but I dodged his blast. I then returned fire with a rapid fire ice blast.
Meanwhile Thunder had just about had enough of Surge and Breez and had knocked them both unconscious. He then came charging towards me.
"You can't defeat both of us!" Meltdown hissed. "Your doomed!"
"Yeah!" Thunder continued. "And when were finished with you we'll deal with your friends over there!"
I had had enough of these two. I shot thunder in the feet and froze him to the ground. I the shot Meltdown. While the villain was dazed I hero-cuffed him. I also Hero-Cuffed Thunder for extra measures.

When we walked outside it was night time and the kids were all out trick-or-treating. But for us it was another day on duty. In fact, I don't think we ever get one off.

Mission 11: Trick of Trap (1 of 2)

Mission:
Trick or Trap
Team:
Alpha Team Veteran Preston Stormer with Rookies Will Furno, Natalie Breez and Mark Surge
Objective:
Recapture Meltdown and Thunder who have recently escaped from prison.
Furno's Log:

Trick or treat? More like Trick or Trap as this mission was a tough one. It was Halloween and  everyone was having a good time, well everyone but us. Both Meltdown and Thunder had seen here and we were on duty searching for them. After hours of searching we began to think it was a prank call but then it happened.
We were on top of a bridge with the water flowing below us. Not so far away the water was falling through the industrial waterfall.
BOOM!!! Thunder had shot the bridge down and we were speeding through the river strait towards the waterfall.
"So long Hero's!!!" Thunder laughed, their was no sign of Meltdown, maybe the caller had got it wrong.
"Kid!" Stormer said as he grabbed my arm. He had frozen a strip of water anchored himself to the side. Breez had done a similar thing using her harpoon to grab the side of the river and had Surge clinging to her leg. We quickly climbed out and went to confront Thunder.
"Back for more I see." Thunder said, his voice shook the ground below our feet.
"Surrender Thunder! We've beaten you twice before." I said, my Dual Fire-Shooter aimed directly at him.
"Never!" Thunder said. "I would rather be a trash-bot than return to that prison."
"That can be arranged." Surge joked.
I heard a faint sound coming from below us. Before I could react the flour melted away and we fell into a hollow with piping on the metal walls. I felt a tentacle rap around my neck and pull me back.
Stormer quickly got to his feet and said: "Release him, Meltdown."
"Never!" The villain replied. "Now drop your weapons or your friend here dies..."

Dunkan Bulk Opinion

Hi,
I just did the review of my brothers new HeroFactory set and I gave him a 9/10 overall. If you remember my review of Preston Stormer I did a post about my brothers opinion, this will be the same only about Dunkan Bulk. Now onto my brothers opinion:

My favourite part about the set is that the weapon arm is more filled in than Preston Stormer and Jimi Stringer. I really like the colour because it makes him look tough. The leg pieces are the same as the other Hero's so there is nothing special there. I guess that's it, I would give Dunkan Bulk a 8/10

That was my brothers opinion on Dunkan Bulk and remember their will be no more HeroFactory reviews until Christmas but who knows, there could be a surprise review but I don't think there will be any more until Christmas. Please comment and follow,

2010 Hero Review: Dunkan Bulk

Hi,
My brother got Dunkan Bulk the same time I got Jimi Stringer and Bulk is quite a cool Hero. He also has a great colour scheme which is very unique. Now onto the review...

The build was the basic Alpha Team build except that the weapon arm is on the left instead of the right but that hardly changes the build. I'll give the build a regular 4/10

The new pieces are very cool. My favourite one is the arm because its not as hollow as Stormers and Stringers, unfortunately its not completely filled in. He also comes with a hero core that match's his head pieces colour. The body armour looks very strong and the colour adds to the effect. I'll give the new pieces a 10/10

As you all know by now, the playability gets a 5/10

Overall, Bulk is very cool. I would suggest not getting him in this set and getting bulk and vapour instead, unless you like the silver hand because of its use for MoCing or are a collector (Like Me) and are aiming to get all the sets. Overall I'll give Bulk a 9/10

Thanks for reading this review. I'm not sure what review will be next but I will probably be doing my brother's opinion on the set like I did with Preston Stormer. Anyway, please comment and follow,

2010 Hero Review: Jimi Stringer

Hi,
I've just got Jimi Stringer and he is awesome! He is my favourite Hero and he has a great colour scheme, reminds me of Halloween. Anyway, onto the review...

The build was the same as Preston Stormer, simpler than the rookies and you don't really need the instruction booklet. As always, I'm giving the Build a 4/10

The new pieces are basically the same as the other Hero's except they have a different colour. He has his own unique chest plate which has amplifiers making him look very cool. The chest armour also looks very slick which is cool. The sonic blaster weapon looks cool but, unfortunately, is hollow. However, all the amplifying equipment makes the weapon look good and his hand is moulded into it. I'm giving the new pieces a 9/10

The playability is not so good on its own, but together with some of the other Hero's and Villains it would be very fun (How many times have I said that?) so I'll give a 5/10

Overall, despite the arm, Jimi Stringer is the best. I only wish LEGO would fill in the hollow arm. Overall, I think he deserves a 8/10

By the way, Mission 10: Dark Reunion is my last mission for a while. I am thinking about doing a Halloween special but I still haven't decided. The missions will continue in 2011 when the new sets come out. Also, the next review will be of Bulk then that will probably  be it until Christmas but you never know. Please comment and follow,

Mission 10: Dark Reunion (2 of 2)

Mission:
Dark Reunion
Team:
Alpha Team Veteran Preston Stormer, Jimi Stringer and Dunkan Bulk with Rookies Will Furno, Natalie Breez and Mark Surge
Objective:
Capture Von Nebula once and for all.
Stormer's Log:

This mission was not going well. We had already lost Furno and Bulk, another loss and we would have to fall back. This was our one big chance to capture Von Nebula and I wasn't going to blow it. Then I looked on the bright side of the situation, we had almost defeated Von Nebula's army. Then it hit me. Xplode was nowhere in sight and their was loads of containers filled with flammable substances plotted randomly across the battlefield. I looked up and then the mystery was solved. Xplode was standing on top of Von Nebula's base ready for the kill.
"SO LONG, HERO'S!!!" Xplode screamed as he launched every missile he had at us. On normal circumstances this would have been bad, but with all the flammable substances lying around it made this extremely deadly.
"Everybody get down!!!" I ordered just in time the explosion came and I was almost blown away by the shock-wave.
"Stringer!" I said. "Take down Xplode!"
"Yes sir!" He replied.
"Surge, Breez! Get the injured to safety." I ordered.
They then went to do their jobs and I went to do mine. Settle a score with Von Nebula.

I guess I should tell you about my past with Von Nebula. It was when I was on a mission as a rookie .Von Nebula went by the name Von Ness back then and was a Rookie like me. Unfortunately our commander was down and Von Ness became cowardly and left me alone to fight the enemy. I had not seen Von Ness since, I amused he had returned to the factory at first but when I arrived no-one had seen him. Now the secret was revealed, Von Ness had chosen a life of crime and was now at the top of the most wanted list. Now I am going to bring him to justice.
I found Von Nebula easily.
"Hey!" I said. "Remember me?"
"Preston Stormer!" Von Nebula said in a low hum.
"Von Ness!"
"Not any more, Stormer!" He roared "I AM VON NEBULA!!!"
He tried to hit me with his Black Hole Staff but I blocked his attack with my multi-function ice weapon. Then I began a rapid-fire assault on my adversary. He was growing weaker and weaker every second so I paused my assault and said: "Had enough."
"Hardly!" Von Nebula roared as he activated his Black Hole Staff and defied the laws of science, summoning a black hole. I quickly jumped and took the Staff of the villain. I then deactivated the black hole and arrested Von Nebula.

I went outside and saw that Stringer had defeated Xplode and Bulk and Furno were back on their feet. We had captured all of Von Nebula's gang and finally captured Von Nebula himself. The galaxy could finally be at peace. But soon their would be another villain that will come on along, and when they do we will be ready...

Hero Factory is coming to DVD!

Hi,
The first HeroFactory DVD is going to be available on the 16th of November 2010. The DVD is called Rise of the Rookies and it includes the episodes that were on TV in September. Their names are: The Trials of Furno, Core Crisis, The Enemy Within and Von Nebula. Here is the description for the DVD:

Welcome to the Hero Factory. A place where the most advanced and skilled Heroes in the universe are built to serve one function – saving the world from evil. Alpha team leader Stormer is the best and toughest Hero at the Hero Factory. It helps that he has Bulk and Stringer on his team, but he is driven by something deep inside of him. Years ago, when he was still just a Rookie, he was on a dangerous mission. Their leader was wounded and it was up to Stormer and his fellow Rookie, Von Ness, to save the city. But Von Ness deserted him, and Stormer was forced to go into battle alone. He succeeded that day, just like he has on every mission since then, but he still carries around the feeling that something is left unfinished. A new Rookie team has been assigned to complete their training with Stormer and his crew. Furno looks to be the best Rookie the Factory has seen since Stormer was a Rookie himself. He takes his position as a Hero in training very seriously and yearns for Stormer’s approval, and will push himself to do whatever it takes to get it. He’s joined by fellow Rookies Breez and Surge, as they try to prove to Stormer and each other why they are ready to become true Heroes. As the six Heroes begin to work together on their missions, they start to realize that the bad guys they are fighting are working for someone. Someone from Stormer’s past, with an evil agenda to take down the Hero Factory and Stormer himself.

I can't wait for this DVD to be released in stores because it looks awesome. Please Follow and Comment,

Mission 9: The Fight for Victory (1 of 2)

Mission:
The Fight for Victory
Team:
Alpha Team Veteran Preston Stormer, Jimi Stringer and Dunkan Bulk with Rookies Will Furno, Natalie Breez and Mark Surge
Objective:
Capture Von Nebula once and for all.
Furno's Log:

This mission was destined one of the greatest in HeroFactory history, and I was honoured to be a part of it. This mission was a lot of things, but exciting was not one of them. Sure, it may sound fun but in reality this mission was deadly.
As soon as we landed gunshots began and I was almost taken out within the first couple of minutes. After melting some drones I focused my attacks on Rotor. He had gotten the upper hand against me last time but I wasn't going to let that happen again.
The one thing I did find odd was Xplode's absence. After the explosion we saw Rotor flying away in the distance and we assumed Xplode was with him. I pushed those thoughts out of my mind and went to face Rotor.
"Hey Rotor!!!" I shouted. "Remember me?"
"All you Hero's look the same to me!" Rotor replied. "Besides, soon you will all be part of the scrap heap."
"Don't count on it!" I said, narrowly avoiding his meteor blast.
Out of the corner of my eve I saw Surge and Breez take on a drone that was bigger than the others and was armed with more powerful weapons than any others I'd ever seen. I tried to ignore them. If I continued getting distracted my head my head would become detached from my body.
I knocked Rotor to the ground and stood over him."Surrender!!!" I said.
"Never!!!" He said as he kicked me and made me hit the ground.
I got up and looked to the other side of me and saw Bulk on the ground, unconscious. Then it happened.
"Kid!!!" Stormer called. "Watch out!!!"
It was already to late. Rotor shot me and I lay on the ground watching Stormer defeat Rotor, then everything went black...

Mission 8: Prison Break

Mission:
Prison Break
Team:
Alpha Team Veteran Preston Stormer with Rookies Will Furno, Natalie Breez and Mark Surge
Objective:
Stop Rotor and Xplode's and recapture the villains.
Stormer's Log:

I don't know how but Rotor and Xplode escaped. I didn't ask questions because I knew that their was no time to waste. These villains were some of the most powerful in the galaxy. Unfortunately, all I had was a team of rookies. They were showing amazing skill's but they were still just rookies. Anyway, as we were chasing the villains, I overheard them talking.
"Quick!!!" Xplode shouted. "Their catching up to us."
"If you could fly like me, We wouldn't be in this situation." Rotor said. "And I thought you were thinking of a plan."
"Keep your blades on!!! I'm thinking of it." Xplode replied.
After that I shot the ground ahead of them. They both stopped and turned around.
"To late!!!" Rotor said. "They've found us."
"But they won't capture us." Xplode said as he shot his meteor blaster at us.
"Look out!!!" I said as I ducked down and assumed the rookies did the same. I got up and returned fire on the villains. The rookies did the same and we slowly became the winning side.
"Permission to outflank, Alpha Leader?" Furno asked.
"Permission granted, Furno." I replied.
I had to admit, Furno had some skills but the kid had along way to go before he became a true hero. I watched as Furno sneaked round and began attacking  from behind.
"Come on." I shouted and we charged towards the villains.
"I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!!" Xplode roared and suddenly their was an enormous explosion and then everything went black.

When I woke up I was happy to see that the rookies were each in one peace but I was not happy to that the villains had got away.
"We'll never find them now." I moaned.
"Don't count on it." Furno said. "I put a tracking device on Rotor during the fight. We will be able to find them wherever they hide."
"Good job kid." I congratulated him. "With any luck, it will lead us to Von Nebula himself..."

Mission 7: Thunder and Lightning

Mission:
Thunder and Lightning
Team:
Alpha Team Veteran Jimi Stringer with Rookies Will Furno, Natalie Breez and Mark Surge
Objective:
Defeat Thunder and his army of drones.
Surge's Log:

Jimi Stringer had faced down Thunder not so long ago. The villain got away and apparently some of his drones escaped with him. Now it was up to me, Stringer, Furno and Breez to stop that villain once and for all.
"Get ready rookies." Stringer said. "This is going to be a battle to remember."
I thought on those words but then I got interrupted by a loud explosion. I looked to my left to see that our engines had been hit.
"Jump for it!!!" I shouted.
As soon as I said it we all jumped off the ship. We all landed safely. I looked up to see our ship explode.
"Well there goes our ride." I said.
"I think we've got bigger problems." Furno pointed out. There was a dozen drones heading towards us.
"Take em' out." Stringer ordered.
I didn't need to be told twice. I raised my blasters and shot one, two, three, these drones weren't very armoured but the were overwhelming.
"Stand back!!!" Stringer ordered. He let out a impossibly loud sonic blast. The drones fell into pieces.
"Wow!!!" Breez said. "Now that's hero power."
"Come on." Stringer said as if he did that thing every day, which he probably did. We've got a villain to defeat.

We found Thunders base pretty easily. However his army of drones would make it a challenge to get in. Furno melted the two drones guarding the entrance to the courtyard.
"Furno, Breez, you distract the drones in the courtyard." Stringer ordered. "Surge, you and me are going inside to take down Thunder."
I was as surprised as Furno and Breez, I was going to fight a villain with a member of Alpha Team.
Stringer pressed the button and Furno and Breez charged in and began the fight, gun shots filled the air, I was tempted to join the battle but Stringer stopped me.
"Come on." He said. "Its time to take Thunder down."

We went around the battle without detection, then we charged into the main base.
As usual, Thunder was waiting for us. "Welcome Hero's" Thunder said. "I see that you have fought your way."
"Surrender Thunder." Stringer ordered. "And perhaps your prison sentence will be shorter."
"Ha! Ha! Ha!" Thunder laughed. "Last time we met I escaped and nearly destroyed you. That can easily happen again."
Suddenly, Thunder shot his Meteor blaster at us. I jumped for it in time but Stringer wasn't so lucky. He was knocked unconscious and was laying on the flour.
"Now its your turn rookie!!!" Thunder said as he shot his meteor blaster at me. I activated my Lightning blades and crossed the beams to make a shield. The meteor blast exploded but I was unharmed. Thunder ran back and got on a elevating platform. I got on another one and we both began rising to the roof. Thunder kept shooting at me but I shielded myself from his blows.
When we reached the top I put my lightning blades together and created a double sided sword. We traded blows for a while until I got the advantage. I jumped over him and placed the hero-cuffs onto his arms.
"NO!!!" Thunder roared.
I look over the edge to see that Furno and Breez had beaten the army of drone's. Then I went down to check on Stringer.
We were taking down Von Nebula's henchman one by one, and soon we would bring Von Nebula himself to justice. But for now, all we could do is wait.

Mission 6: Bulk

Mission:
Bulk
Team:
Alpha Team Veteran Dunkan Bulk
Objective:
Save a city on Almaak V from Vapour's rampage.
Bulk's Log:

I was board. It had been days and I had not been on any mission whatsoever. The train sphere had gotten old ages ago. I was just waiting for the call to get me out of this sleeping pod and onto the battle field. Then it happened:
“Attention Hero Bulk, Vapour has just been spotted causing major mayhem and he must be stopped. Report immediately to the Refitting Room to be mission-equipped with special breathing helmet, jetpack and a special weapon for each arm. Only this special equipment, your strength and experience can withstand Vapour’s dual tube-fed weapons that shoot corrosive vapour!”

I arrived on Almaak V, alone. Then I realised that this was the first time I was going solo. No Stormer to tell me what to do, no Stringer to make it so noisy, just me. Oh yeah, ages ago, when I was on a mission with Stormer and Stringer, I had a little fight with Almaak V's Government about them trying to start a war with the Prima Giedi star system. But the past is behind me now. And I'm ready to fight Vapour.
I activated my jetpack and flew off to search for Vapour. By the way, flying is awesome! Anyway, as soon a I found Vapour, I flew down to him and shouter: "HEY VAPOUR!!!"
Then I realised how stupid that was. He turned around and shot me down within seconds.
"Ha! Ha! Ha!" Vapour laughed. "You are such an easy opponent. 5 seconds of fighting and I'm already winning. "
I was getting angry. I raised my gun and shot at him. He went flying backwards and landed on the ground with a bang.
"Who's winning now." I said as I got up and ran towards him.
Vapour quickly recovered and said: "Not you!!!"
He shot his corrosive vapour at me but this time I was ready. I jumped over the blast and and got my Hero-Cuffs ready.
Before he knew it, Vapour was defeated with the Hero-Cuffs locked on him. I took him back to the Factory for trial against his crimes.
But the thing that I was proud of was that I had completed my first solo mission.

Mission 5: The Dawn of Battle

Mission:
The Dawn of Battle
Team:
Rookies Will Furno, Natalie Breez and Mark Surge
Objective:
Capture Corroder and bring him to Justice.
Furno's Log:

We had been chasing Corroder for weeks. We had a few minor battles with him but he always managed to get away. This time it was going to different.
We found him on a industrial rooftop in a major city, if we failed here hundreds of innocents would be at risk. We split up and surrounded him, then I made a big mistake.
I stepped on a mine that was placed on the floor. There was an explosion and before I knew it I was laying on the floor with Corroder standing over me.
"Ha! Ha! Ha!" Corroder hissed. "Did you really think I would allow you to find me so easily?"
I said nothing.
"You Heroes are all the same." He continued. "In a day or so this city will be wiped of the map. But don't worry, you won't be around to see its destruction. In fact you won't be around to see the next 5 minutes."
He aimed his Meteor Blaster at me. I thought I was a doomed but just before he dealt the final blow Surge jumped in and shot Corroder. Corroder went flying back and started to fall off the building, but he quickly grabbed onto the edge and pull himself back up.
I still felt dazed but I managed to get up and prepare myself for battle.
"Are you OK Furno?" asked Breez.
"Yeah" I said. "Just a bump on my head".
Breez nodded then turned her attention to Corroder who had recovered from Surges surprise attack.
We traded blows on top of the building, but none of us gained an advantage until I noticed that there was some other mines placed on top of the building.
"Hey ugly!!!" I shouted at Corroder. "Over hear!!!"
Corroder took the bait and charged at me. Then there was an explosion and Corroder was lying on the ground unconscious.
"Nice job Furno" Breez said.
"Thanks" I replied. "Now lets Hero cuff this guy and get back to the factory."
It had been a long mission but we had finally succeeded.

2010 Villain Review: Xplode

Hi,
I just got Xplode and he is awesome. I built him as soon as I got home and really enjoyed the build. When I looked at the box I thought he looked a bit skinny. But once he was built I thought otherwise. Now onto the review.

The build was great. Definitely reminded me of the Glatorian type of build. He has more pieces than Corroder and a better build. He is a hunchback and doesn't use the connector on the on the body piece to attach his head on. however the connector piece on the body is used for the back armour. I'll give the build a 9/10

Their are a few new pieces but mainly re-colours. The new piece that comes with a lot of HeroFactory sets is the body piece. The helmet is awesome, it has teeth which makes it look more evil. He has cool new spike pieces which are made with a strong rubber. The weapon is cool and has very good detail. He also has the black Thornax Launcher pieces which are great for MoC's. I'll give the new piece's a 9/10

The playability is better than a Hero because of the Meteor Launcher but you really need some Hero's for him to battle. I'll give the playability a 6/10

Overall, this set is worth the money and brings back the old Glatorian feel. I would suggest getting him as your first or second villain. Overall, he deserves a 9/10

I'm not sure what review will be next but their won't be one for a while. Please Comment and follow,

Mission 4: Frozen Fury

Mission:
Frozen Fury
Team:
Alpha Team Veterans Preston Stormer, Jimi Stringer and Dunkan Bulk
Objective:
Protect the Snowbase from Von Nebula's minion Rotor.
Stormer's Log:

OK, lets get straight to the action. So we were guarding the Snowbase waiting for something to happen. I was beginning to think that Rotor wasn't coming until I saw him flying towards us. He land on the ice and made a few cracks, then he started walking towards us.
"Stop!" I shouted at the villain. "Leave now or face the swift justice of Hero Factory." He continued walking towards us.
"That means: Go away or get blown up." Bulk threatened, but he kept walking towards us.
Finally Rotor stood still and began to talk. "Alpha team? I thought Hero's with your reputation would be a little bit... taller. Ha! Ha! Ha!"
"No more warnings." I said. "Attack!!!"
We charged at him but he reacted quickly, he jumped up in the air and shot the ground in front of us. Their was a big explosion in front of us and the ground opened up.
"Get away from the cracks!" I ordered.
"Don't need to tell us twice." Stringer replied.
"Puny Hero's!" Rotor taunted. "You will never beat me!" Then I noticed that Rotor was hovering in the air. I had a plan all worked out, I just needed him on the ground for it to work.
"Bulk! Stringer!" I ordered "Get him out of the air and onto the ground."
"I think I know what you have in mind." Stringer said then he ran off to join Bulk who was already attacking.
It took a while to get him out of the air. Bulk got hit a few times but he seemed to be all right. Finally, Stringer made a sound wave so loud that it disturbed Rotor's flight systems. Once he was on the ground I shot the ice bellow him and the ice broke making him fall into the ice cold water. After that we got him out and put a pair of Hero Cuffs on him. Then we travelled back to the factory and knew we had achieved our mission.

Mission 3: Total Meltdown

Mission:
Total Meltdown
Team:
Rookies Will Furno, Natalie Breez and Mark Surge
Objective:
Stop Meltdown before his sends a Power Plant into Meltdown.
Breez's Log:

This mission was a tough one. I wasn't just protecting the nearby city's from the explosion. I was protecting nature as well. See I have a 'link' to nature, and a nuclear explosion would damage the environment. Anyway, we searched the power plant for Meltdown. Furno was concentrating hard and was clearly trying to find Meltdown. Whereas Surge wasn't concentrating at all, he was whistling loudly banging his feet on the ground annoyingly.
"Will you stop that!" I exploded.
"What?" Surge asked, but I had a feeling he knew what I meant.
"We should split up." Furno broke in. "That way we'll have a better chance of finding Meltdown."
"We can't." I said, a bit harsher than it should of been. "We need to fight him together."
"What's the matter, Natalie?" Surge taunted. "Afraid you can't beat Meltdown without us?"
"I'll get you for that!"
"You wouldn't dare."
"Cut it out!" Furno said. "We need to be fighting are enemy's, not each other."
"Fine." I said, then I walked off.

After a while I managed to find Meltdown on my own. I quickly called the guys for help then went to confront Meltdown.
"Hey!!!" I shouted. "Over here?"
"Hero," Meltdown hissed. "Prepare to watch this Power Plant go into Meltdown."
"Not if I can help it." I threw my boomerangs at him but he was too fast. He grabbed me with his tentacle and threw me across the room.
"You cannot defeat me, Hero." He hissed.
He walked over to the controls but before he could do anything he was hit by a blast of electricity. Then I saw Surge and Furno standing at the entrance. This time it was Furno's turn to make a stand, he shot a blast of fire at Meltdown. I got up and put the Hero cuffs on him before he could do anything else.
"Nice job." Furno congratulated "Both of you."
Then we began to walk to the ship.

That night I decided against putting a bug in Surge's sleeping pod. After all he did save my life. Today was another success for us Rookies, and hopefully there are many more to come.

Mission 2: The Sound of Thunder

Mission:
The Sound of Thunder
Team:
Alpha Team Veterans Preston Stormer, Jimi Stringer and Dunkan Bulk
Objective:
Shut down the factory which is constructing a army of destructive drones.
Stringer's Log:

We arrived safely which doesn't happen often. Some of the drone's that had been fully constructed were already attacking the city.
We started fighting them immediately. Bulk enjoyed crushing them which I was expecting. Stormer had made a scrapheap but he had already got a few dents in his armour. I was taking a few out but my armour was no better than Stormer's. Then I saw about a dozen of bots marching towards us.
"Cover your audio-receptors!!!" I shouted to Stormer and Bulk. Then I turned up the volume to the super sonic level. No doubt the sonic blast was effective, all the bots shattered like glass. Speaking of glass I also broke a lot of windows.
"Awesome!!!" Bulk cheered.
"Nice job Stringer." Stormer said, obviously impressed, and impressing Stormer is not easy, believe me.
"Thanks Alpha leader." I replied.
"So are we going to destroy more bots?" Bulk asked.
"No," Stormer answered. "We're going to shut down that factory."
"Wait" I said. "What if more bots attack the city."
"Good point." Stormer said. After a few seconds he thought of a strategy. "I'll defend the city. You two go and shut down the factory."
We nodded in agreement then began the long walk to the factory.

We got inside easily. All Bulk did was take one shot to blow up the guards and the door. We walked in expecting a fight but there wasn't one.
"Thats odd." I noticed.
"Who cares." Bulk said. "Let just get this over with."
As soon as he started to walk in the alarms went off and some bots started walking in. We were about to take them out when a hologram of something appeared. It was Thunder, one of Von Nebula's gang.
"You!" Me and Bulk shouted.
"Glad to see you remember me." Thunder said in his cold metallic voice.
"Its hard to forget a face as ugly as that."I teased.
"I will enjoy watching my drones crush you." Thunder said.
"Go to the scrapheap." Bulk shouted, then he shot the hologram. When it passed straight through the image Thunder began to laugh.
"You know what Bulk, your still as dumb as you used to be." Thunder teased.
"Well your not that much smarted." Bulk shouted back.
Just then the bots aimed their weapons at us. "DRONES, FINISH THEM!!!"
As soon as Thunder gave the order the bots charged at us. Bulk was enjoying himself. He charged through the group destroying every bot in his path. I didn't hesitate to turn up the volume, I shot at the group of bots, destroying quite a few.
The battle was over quickly. Only after it did we realize the Hologram was off. Beyond the next door was the main factory.
"After you." I said to Bulk.
"My pleasure." He replied. Then he charged through and I follow behind him.
"So, you survived my Drones." Thunder said with a wicked smile on his face. He was standing on a platform above us so he had the high ground.
"Yeah!" Bulk said. "And now were going to take you out."
Bulk began to charge but before he could do anything Thunder shot a Meteor blast at him. The blast was so powerful that Bulk flew back and hit the wall then lay on the ground unconscious.
I kept my cool but inside me I began to fell anger. I shot a sonic blast which knocked Thunder off his platform. I charged at him but he was to quick and he grabbed me with his crusher claw. I activated a sonic wave which pushed him back and made him drop me. Then I noticed something far above my head. It was the PowerCore. Then I saw Bulk getting up.
"Bulk!" I shouted. "The core."
Bulk looked up and nodded. He shot the core and the hole place began to explode. Thunder jumped of the edge of the platform. When I looked over the edge I saw him rising up on another platform. He shot the wall and then turned to us.
"Foolish Heroes. You have chosen your own demise." And with that he was gone.
Me and Bulk quickly jumped up to the gap in the wall and escaped just in time. unfortunately we could not see Thunder anywhere. Then I looked behind us and saw the explosion and I knew Stormer was never going to believe this.

Preston Stormer Opinion

Hi,
I just did a review of Preston Stormer and I gave him a 7/10 As I said in the review Preston Stormer is my Brother's. This post is about his opinion on Preston Stormer. This is the first time I've done this and I may do it for the other sets he gets as well. Now onto my Brothers opinion:

I think the new pieces are cool. My favourite is the helmet because it has a cool design. I also like the body armour because it looks icy with the spikes. The leg armour is another cool piece because it makes him look more bulky. The colour scheme is cool but the black piece on his right are doesn't match the colour scheme. The part I don't like is the hollow arm. Overall I agree with my brother and give him a 7/10

That was my brothers opinion on Preston Stormer. Remember their will be no more HeroFactory reviews for a while. Please comment and follow,

2010 Hero Review: Preston Stormer

Hi,
My brother got Preston Stormer when I got Natalie Breez. He is cool but I do have one complaint which I think every one knows: his arm is hollow. But he still looks cool.

The Build was even simpler than the rookie's. Because you only have one proper arm you don't as build much. I'm giving the Build a 4/10

Same as the other Hero's, there are a lot of new pieces. 8 in total. The helmet is cool and has a visor along his eyes. The Body is the same as the other Hero's but the body armour is different, it has cool spikes that give him more of a icy feel. He also has a trans-blue HeroCore which is exclusive to this set. He has the blue limbs which are cool but he only comes with 3. The leg armour is the same as the others but they look cool in white. The feet are also the same as the others but in are in white. The weapon is cool and has a nice trans-blue crystal affect, he also has a buzz saw, a harpoon and something else but I don't know what it is. His right hand is moulded into the weapon which give it a nice affect but the con with the weapon is that it is hollow. I'm giving the New Pieces a 9/10

The playability , as you know, is not so good on its own, but together with some of the other Hero's and Villains it would be very fun so I'll give a 5/10

Overall, I like Preston Stormer but my only complaint is the hollow arm. He has a nice colour scheme and some cool pieces. Overall I think he deserves a 7/10

I don't have any more HeroFactory sets to review until I get some more, so their won't be any more reviews for a while but their will be posts on other things. Please comment and follow,

2010 Hero Review: Natalie Breez

Hi,
I got Natalie Breez a while ago but forgot to review her. She is not my favourite Hero but she is still cool. Green seems to be the new female colour. Anyway, on with the review.

The Build, as always, was simple. You don't really need the instruction booklet but I used it when I'm building it the first time. I'm giving the build a 5/10

There are a lot of new pieces. 8 different one's. The Rookie chest plate is the same as Will Furno and Mark Surge (I don't have Surge yet) but in a different colour. The Hero Core is in a cool red but it doesn't match the head piece. The Helmet does look like a insect and that relates to the story because she can talk to wildlife, which includes insects, this is only a guess though. The Boomerang's are cool and are almost completely made of a strong rubber. I'll give it a 9/10

The playability is not so good on its own, but together with some of the other Hero's and Villains it would be very fun so I'll give a 5/10

Overall I like this Rookie. She has a cool colour scheme and nice pieces. All in all, I think she deserves a 8/10

Expect a review of Preston Stormer soon. Please comment and follow,

Mission 1: A Explosive Beginning

Mission:
A Explosive Beginning
Team:
Rookies Will Furno, Natalie Breez and Mark Surge
Objective:
Stop Xplode's rampage on Fabulox 18 and repair any damage done to the mines on the planet.
Furno's Log:

It sounded like a straight forward mission: Stop Xplode and repair any damage. But the thing is those Briefing-Bots make everything sound straight forward.
Anyway, we found Xplode easily. But on a planet as quite as this you can hear a Explosion from a mile away. When we saw him I came up with a plan: I would distract the Villain while Breez and Surge outflanked him.
After I told them the plan Natalie said "Are you crazy, He'll destroy you."
"Don't worry, I'll be fine." I lied.
Natalie gave a small nod, then she and Mark went to do their part. But first I had to do mine...

I got behind him and shouted "HEY UGLY!!!" It seemed like a stupid idea but it got his attention.
"Is that it?" He said. "Just one Hero? The factory must running out of parts."
"You're so bad at fighting they decided to only send one Hero." I said.
"SO BAD AT FIGHTING!!!" He shouted, defiantly annoyed by my insult. "I'LL SHOW YOU WHO'S SO BAD AT FIGHTING!!!"
He shot his Meteor Blaster at me but I dodged it... just. I probably should of shut up then but I didn't "And apparently bad at aiming too."
I shot him with my Dual Fire Shooter but he didn't even flinch.
"I WILL DESTROY YOU!!!" Xplode Roared. I thought this was the end but just then I saw Xplode fall over with Mark Surge standing over him.
"Power Draining Cuffs" He said. "Handy for those tight spots."
"Good distraction." Natalie said. "You really made that Hot head mad."
"Thanks," I said "But we've got a mine to repair."
"Hey," Surge Complained. "Do we have to."
"It was part of our mission." I replied.

We repaired the Mine pretty easily. Then we took of to return to the factory. Our first Mission complete but we knew that their were more on the way. People are now calling me the next Preston Stormer but I'm not to sure about that. I guess only time will tell...

2010 Vehicle Review: Drop Ship

Hi,
I got the Drop Ship a few days ago and it is awesome! The pilot has a special hero-core and the same rookie armour as Mark Surge. I has a few stickers but they do add a lot of detail. Also this is going to be my last HeroFactory for a while but their will be more. Anyway, on with the review.

I have no complainants with the build. It is a interesting build and far from simple. I give the build a awesome 10/10

I cant say much about the new pieces. Its quite a big set so I haven't actually counted. I can say that their are quite a lot. Their are a lot of re-colours on it which is nice to see. I give the new pieces a 8/10

The playability is O.K but you need either a hero canister or a star canister for one of them. Its hard to explain the function but the main idea is to carry the canister. In the story I think their is supposed to be loads of these because they can only carry one canister each. It is fun to shot the Midak-Skyblaster (I don't know what it is called in the HeroFactorty story) at villains. I will give the playability a 8/10

Overall I think it is a great set. The only complaint I have is that their is only one blaster. Overall it deserves a 9/10

Thats all really. Please comment and follow,

2010 Villain Review: Corroder

Hi,
I got Corroder yesterday and he is awesome. The only thing I don't like about him is the stickers. He is completely different to the other villain's. I think he is awesome and defiantly worth buying.

Their is only one major complaint with the Build: The Stickers. He comes with 15, but the stickers make him look more cool. The build was a lot better than Will Furno's but its still not as good as the Glatorian's. For those reasons I am giving the build a 7/10

The new pieces are good. The head is awesome, the horn is unique and I've never seen it in a Bionicle or HeroFactory set before. Another awesome part is the weapons, that's were most of the stickers go. The black Thornax Launcher is great for MoC's. That's really it for the new pieces. I'll give the new pieces a 9/10

The playability, same as the Will Furno, is not so good on its own. The only feature really is the Meteor Blaster. Thats why I am going to give the playability a 6/10

Overall I think this set is awesome and worth the price you pay. Together with some other hero's and villain's you've got a hour of fun on your hands. It is defiantly worth a 9/10

Expect a review of the Drop Ship coming soon. Please comment and follow.

2010 Hero Review: William Furno

Hi,
I've just got William Furno. He is Awesome. If you cant deicide about collecting this set or not. Buy this set and see if you like it, Its cheap so if you don't like it you haven't wasted a fortune. Anyway, onto the review.

The build was very simple. You don't really need the Instruction Booklet. However it is cool to see all the new pieces and how they attach on so I'll give it a 5/10

Their are a lot of new pieces, 8 different one's in total. The weapons are awesome. So is the helmet, it has a lot of detail, I looks similar to the one on Crotesius, driver of the Cendox V1.
The new body is awesome and The leg armour is very strong. I'll give it a 9/10

The playability is not so good on its own, but together with some of the other Hero's and Villains it would be very fun so I'll give a 5/10

Overall I think it is a great set. It may be a bit overpriced but I'm quite happy with it. All in all, I think it deserves a 8/10

I will try to get the others and review them soon. Please comment and follow.
